About Short-term Ski & Snowboard Rentals
Our short-term rental service lets you rent ski and snowboard equipment on a daily basis.
It’s a more cost-effective alternative to buying new gear, and we offer delivery and pickup at your accommodation when you’re travelling.
We also carry powder skis & powder snowboards in our lineup, making it perfect for off-piste and backcountry enthusiasts.
Though we maintain a large inventory, some equipment grades and quantities may be limited.
Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis (though reservations take priority), so we strongly recommend reserving in advance.
Usage Guidelines
- Required for Rental
- "Passport or Driver's License"* We will need to make a copy of your ID at the time of rental for verification purposes.
Please have it ready in advance.
Rental Period
- Rental Period (2025-2026 Season)
- November 21, 2025 (Sat) – April 30, 2026 (Thu)
- Rental Start Time
- You can pick up your rental items at the store between 3:00 PM and ６:00 PM the day before your rental start date, or between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the rental day.
Additionally, we can deliver to hotels or accommodations within Hokkaido. Please note that delivery times may vary depending on the delivery area and location, so we recommend applying well in advance. We may be unable to fulfil your request depending on the location and timing. Thank you for your understanding.
- Return Method
- You may choose from the following return methods:
* Return to the store during business hours.
* After–hours return via our Return Box.
* Return by delivery (via Yamato Transport; additional shipping fee of ¥4,000).

Rental Process
- [ 1 ] Make Reservation
- When it comes to rentals, reservations take priority. Please apply in advance via the rental reservation website.
- [ 2 ] Select Equipment
- Once you’ve completed the required forms at the store, choose your preferred equipment. Our staff will be happy to assist with any questions.
- [ 3 ] ID Verification
- We will make a copy of your driver's license or health insurance card for identification purposes.
Please have your ID ready.
- [ 4 ] Payment and Equipment Pickup
- After payment is complete, you'll receive your equipment. Delivery service is available upon request.
- [ 5 ] Return
- Return the equipment to our store by the due date or ship it back to us (shipping fees at customer's expense).
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations of reservations, cancellation fees will apply as outlined below starting five days prior to the date of use.
Please contact us during business hours for any changes or cancellations to your reservation.
For email notifications, the date of receipt will be considered as the date of notice.

- 50% of the total fee

Note: If payment was made by bank transfer, any refund transfer fees will be borne by the customer. Thank you for your understanding.

Our new reservation system will be in place during the 2025-2026 season.
Please choose a rental store according to the ski resort you will be using and make your reservation on the dedicated reservation site.

SOTORENT Zenibako Store

Free Shuttle Service
Customers who rent equipment from SOTORENT are eligible for our free shuttle service to Sapporo Teine Ski Resort (Olympia Zone), provided they meet the conditions listed.
